The Methodology
The Graduate Programme gives Sporting players a structured transition from academy soccer to the adult game.
Players train within the UPSL environment, learning to compete against older, stronger, and more experienced athletes while still connected to our academy structure.
This stage offers the perfect balance of challenge and development and preparing players for the demands of college or professional football while keeping them grounded in Sporting’s culture and methodology.
Why UPSL?
The United Premier Soccer League is North America’s largest pro-development league, with more than 400 clubs nationwide.
It’s a proven stepping stone: over 70 UPSL alumni have earned contracts in MLS, USL, and international leagues, while countless others have advanced to NCAA Division I and II programs.
